TTAC V is now underway! It's been about a week since the round started, and with 11 matches decided, 7 of my predictions have advanced. How many does Kaus have right? Okay, so he used a quarter. Details, details. Anyways, there should be a lot of upsets in this tournament, as TTAC has some unique stipulations compared to other tournaments. Players who excel in picking nontraditional hands will do well in this tournament. It should be interesting to see what kind of upsets we see. Here’s my bracket of all my picks with some analysis below.

Some early picks for the Quarterfinals and the early winner prediction before I get started on any matchup analysis! Di, Feuer, Polo, Delial, Kaiza, battousai, Mette, and Forcystus. Delial vs. Mette in the finals. As far as a pick for the win, it's tough to say. These two players have played countless tournament games against each other, both taking their fair share. Delial has gotten the best of Mette the past few times. With that in mind, I think Mette will be preparing for his match a little bit more, knowing how dangerous Delial is. Mette for the win.

As far as first round matches, Mette/Wavey definitely is the match that everyone should be looking at. We've got a highly skilled veteran against one of the best players on the site. This match could be the final if the brackets weren't the way they were. I predict Mette to come out on top there. Another interesting matchup will be hotchocolatejunkie/gutter. I believe gutter to be one of the more underrated players on the site. While he has no tournament achievements or shiny awards, he has talent. hotchocolatejunkie is a good player, but I think gutter will advance.

Looking at the list of players participating, it's hard not to pick Delial and Mette to win their respective brackets. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Forcystus, who had a strong showing in SE Cait Sith, made another strong performance. Although, he's got a tough road to even get to the semifinals with the possibility of facing Grat, Shadwell, and Mette. And that's if he beats Roseman in round one, who is also no pushover. Someone else who I predict to follow up their strong SE Cait Sith performance is Di. He had a tough loss to Delial in the Quarterfinals. Looking at his bracket, facing Seif in round 2 will probably be his toughest match. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those two will be facing Delial in the semifinals.
