Build the Perfect Clan Leader Table of Contents Sudoku
Player of the Month
By: Kaus Debonair
The choice for the inaugural player of the month was ridiculously easy. That title belongs to TTA’s newest phenom.

Delial is not a new player to TT by any means, but he is relatively new when compared to others. Like many past phenoms like Karmazin and DocEvil, he has established himself early in his career as a great player. I have a long personal history with Delial as we played together on another site before being reunited on this site. He has always been a great player, though it took him awhile to really break through on TTA. Many players have numerous icons from past tournaments. Delial has a lot of disappointing finishes. He comes into every tournament with the goal of winning in mind but has always fallen short. He lost in the quarterfinals of Triad Wars V and had an extremely disappointing first round loss in SE-Zell. Though, he finally broke through and triumphed in SE Cait Sith.
I caught up with Delial and asked him a few questions about how he has changed since this experience. Here’s what he had to say.
How does it feel to win your first major tournament?
I'm still in shock really. I think half of the community had more faith in me winning it than I did. There were some really tough matches I didn't think I would make it through. Mette, Di, Kaus Debonair, and of course, Kamikaze, were all very tough opponents.
Now that you’ve won, what’s next for you?
Well, I'm in TTAC and hoping to do well for that. I’m not really sure beyond that.
How have the expectations of your abilities changed since winning?
A little bit. I still think people make too much out of me, but on the other hand, I've more proved to myself that if I put my mind to it, I can do some good things.
It is hard to say that a person can have immortality on the site since even the best of us lose matches. Delial will likely continue to play well as he is the front-runner for Player of the Year honors. I know most people will frown when they see him on the same side of the draw as you. I know this personally because I’ll take him on in TTAC round 2.
Congratulations on your SE win, Delial, and best of luck in the future!
