Time for a history lesson. What three clans were the most dominant through the majority of the first TTX? The answer is simple if you were there. It’s Card Club, Avalanche, and Brotherhood of SeeD. And look who’s back again together on the same site. The clans were all in existence at the same time after TTX went down, but not really on the same site. BoS and Avl found their way here since leaders Balz and Dalamar were committed to TTA. CC leadership was committed to TTv3 causing them to go elsewhere. While there was still a CC presence on this site, it wasn’t very committed. But now they’re in full-fledge and back to rule the world… maybe.

On TTX, these three clans were so dominant that they had their own forum within the clans section. There is no doubt that some of TT’s finest players have come out of these three clans. Samson, Blackbolt, Kyori, Cookie, Blade, Lionheart, Vision. The list goes on. But today, these three once powerhouses find themselves in a different scenario. Of these three clans, the only one actually seeing any success is Avalanche. Card Club and Brotherhood of SeeD are in the reformation phase. The amount of insurmountable talent on these clans is much reduced than it once was. However, this is a trend everywhere as the talent just isn’t what it used to be on this site. See Kamikaze’s August article if you haven’t already and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

So, with Avalanche as an established clan and CC and BoS on their way back up, does this bring back the Bermuda Triangle? Let’s ask around. I did a small field study amongst TTA players and asked who they thought the best three clans on TTA are. Here are the top results:

1.) Avalanche

2.) Triforce

3.) Devas

A small group of players that will remain nameless were polled. An equal representation of members of different clans participated in this survey.

It seems that CC and BoS have some work to do if they want to restart the Bermuda Triangle once again between themselves and Avalanche. However, Triforce and Devas are very established clans with a lot of balance and a good track record so I don’t believe they’ll be going anywhere anytime soon. One thing that is for certain is that if CC and BoS return to form, it should make for the most active this clan scene has been in years. Maybe we can have a fatal five-way. And what happens if X-men surges to the form that the Zodiac Braves had? Maybe we can have a hellish hexagon? Whatever happens, it’ll be fun to talk about!
