Kausie Coinflips
By: Kaus Debonair

Do you ever feel like luck just never goes your way? I often wondered sometimes with my lack of playing ability just how far I would go if I were to cointoss my way through the tournament. The odds are not looking good for me since I would have to win six coinflips. But if we were to coinflip our way through the entire tournament, somebody would have to win eventually. Let’s take a look at who TTA’s luckiest player is who makes their way through the gauntlet of coinflips to be crowned the unofficial SE-Cait Sith champion.

The rules are very simple. Coinflip for each round. Heads denotes the top player and tails denotes the bottom player. The coin of choice is a 2003 United States Quarter with the Illinois Emblem on the back. That is my home state, after all. Coins are flipped into the air, caught, and flipped over onto my wrist. The winners for each round will be listed below. To see their opponent, please look up the official draw for the tournament. Good luck everybody!(You really need it!)

First round notes:

Coin was dropped for Zero vs. Di. Tough break. :(
Poor flip for Sola vs. Mother Earth.
Sixteen heads; sixteen tails. Amazing!
Kaus Debonair loses first round. :(

Second round notes:

Awkward flip for Kamikaze vs. Stuff. Was determined a horrible flip on my part and was reflipped. Result stayed the same.
Eight heads; eight tails. Wow!

Third round notes:

Four heads; four tails. Maybe this actually is 50-50. :o

Fourth round notes:

Poor flip for Roseman vs. Kazdan. Better luck next time, Roseman.
Two tail; two heads. 50-50 again!

Semifinal notes:

Two Devas in the finals. I promise this is not fixed!
One head; one tail. Wow!

Finals:

Zero vs. Xero

There is a lot of bad blood between these two. Mostly because I heard a nasty rumor that Xero deliberately spilled Zero’s beer while at the pub recently. The two have never been the same since. And here’s the flip!

Heads!

The Occult Fan would like to unofficially congratulate Zero for winning SE-Cait Sith! We’ll see you for the next tournament to see the wacky turn of events!
