Clan Focus   Table of Contents   TTA Fun

Season IV of Clan League has certainly added a twist to the way it has been run in the past. Zodiac Braves, Triforce, and Avalanche all lead their respected divisions. Triforce has certainly made a big impression on everyone, though. They've completely dominated their opponents, starting with a 5-0 record, including beating both of the other two division leaders. Along with their success in clan league, they also support themselves as one of the most active clans in TTA. They've got the whole package, between Shuriken, a proven leader in countless areas, skilled players, and a large dedicated memberbase.

Other than Season IV of Clan League, there has not been much going on in the world of clans recently, other than some clan vs. clan tournaments. The much anticipated battle between Avalanche and Devas still stands at 3-3, with the 7th game still to be decided. Triad Piratez, still a newer clan in TTA, but experienced and skilled nonetheless, have dominated both of their most recent opponents that they have come in contact with. They beat Hunters Mark 3-1, and they currently lead a best of 7 3-1 against Card Angels.

The activity of the clan scene has certainly seen lower points, but it has also seen higher points. This seems to be a never-ending debate, which can never come to a conclusion. Many reasons can be argued, and have been. Passion in clans, rivalry amongst clans, clan dedication, activity, and the list goes on. The best thing that successful clans have going for them is their activity. Without activity, the other components needed for a clan to be successful cannot exist.

Finally, as we have said Happy Trails to the Clan League, the Occult Fan officially says happy trails to the Knights of the Crusaders. This merger of two semi-successful clans had a lot of promise, but ended up falling short of its expectations. Mergers have been a tough combination to pull off in the past because of many different issues. The most successful merger of all time is a very obvious choice:

While neither clan is in existence today, they were a force when they were together because the clan had so many excellent elements. And if you ask the former members, many wish it were still around today. Having said all this, good luck to all the members that may be without a clan as a result of KotC disbanding. Hopefully you’ll find yourself a new home.
