Hey kiddles, I have great news! Since the last edition of the newsletter, big things have happened; even more than I actually could have anticipated. So, in TT.ca news this month, I have for you, the Card Club AIs, promotions, including the chance to receive rewards and the new items.
First up today is the Card Club AIs. Some of you may have encountered Jack. The first member of the Card Club you must beat, and I can reveal to you that beating Jack actually unlocks the next two AIs. To find Jack, you should try playing the AI again with level 5 and 6, the Namco x Capcom deck, same, and combo. You will know you are playing Jack by the avatar. Jack will drop if beaten a chime, 10xp egg, and a thunder stone. So, it really is worth finding him, and the prizes just get better from here on in.
The upgrades done to the AI have also meant that you now can get random card drops from AI games. You have roughly a 10% chance of one if you lose, a 20% chance if you tie, and you definitely get one if you win. Additionally, there is a 2000 point reward if you beat Jack on very hard levels 5 and 6 with Same, Plus, Plus Wall and Combo.
Some promotions for the players, in way of thanks to the current players, check out this page and enter the code word “CardClub” to receive a prize. Additionally, you can get free packs by referring new players. All you need to do is invite a player, get them to sign up, and on this page new players can enter the person that referred them to the sites TT.ca number, and that will give the referrer a free pack after a certain number of games are played. I think the referral rewards will come in particular use for people bringing more members of their clan to the site.
Finally, new items has been added. In addition to eggs and stones, there are now twenty new items that can be used in chains, sold for profit, or having various other uses. The most exciting other use is the fusion items. Some examples of what the items can do include healing potions for shamans, blood potions for vampires, a dream crown for princesses, and undead rings and staffs for all your devilish needs.
There are currently three rare chains: Witch from Ogre Battle, Tyranitar from Pokemon 2, and Flygon from Pokemon 3. The items you need for these chains are created by fusing together other items. If you were to look closely you might notice certain parts of the fused items and actually be able to trace it back to the item it came from, further clues can be found in the item descriptions. You might also notice that there is an extra item you can create, that is not currently in any chain, but just secretly I will let you in on a secret, you will have to make this item to play the Queen of Cards herself.
